Independence of the seas Sailing Dates:
Independence of the Seas, slated to launch in May of 2008, sister
ship to the 154,407-ton, 3,634-passenger Freedom of the Seas and
Liberty of the Seas. The highly anticipated Independence of the Seas
will embark on her maiden voyage in mid-May 2008, offering 14-night
Western Mediterranean sailings from Southampton, England to the
Spanish, French and Italian Riviera. Independence also offers
travelers four voyages to the Canary Islands on ten- and 11-night
itineraries.Guests aboard Royal Caribbean's Europe cruises will
enjoy the cruise line's signature amenities. Independence of the
Seas will feature the revolutionary FlowRider surf simulator and
regulation-size boxing ring.

on-board. Our cruise ships visit some of the most exciting
shopping destinations and museums in the world. But you don't
have to leave the ship to shop or see some of the world's finest
artwork. We have a wide selection of shops on-board. Plus art
galleries, art auctions, and a chance to explore some other
activities, like wine tastings.
Young Adventurers
Fun isn't just for adults at Royal
Caribbean. We offer exciting programs for guests of all ages,
starting at just 6 months old! And you can feel confident
leaving your children, over three years of age, with us because
every member of our staff holds a college degree in education or
other related field, or has qualified experience in working with
children.From 6-36 months of age, our tiniest guests and
their parents are invited to participate in the Fisher-Price
Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots Programs. Developed by
Fisher-Price exclusively for Royal Caribbean International,
these activities are hosted by trained youth staff. A parent or
caregiver MUST accompany children during activity sessions.
Kids from 3-17 may take part in our complimentary Adventure
Ocean® Youth Program. Adventure Ocean was specially designed
to blend educational activities with just plain fun. To
participate in our Adventure Ocean programs, children must be
three years of age and potty-trained (diaper and pull-up free).
Aqua Babies Ages 6-18 Months
Parents and
babies enjoy special themes each day involving music, toys and
learning activities. Aqua Tots Ages 18-36 Months
Delightful themes for parents and toddlers to share reinforce
early learning and natural curiosity.
Aquanauts Ages 3-5
Years
Potty-trained kids from 3-5 years of
age can play games, color, even become Certified Jr. Adventure
Scientists. Explorers Ages 6-8 Years
Kids 6-8 years of age can join parties, compete for prizes, make
kites and masks, even learn to make gummy candies.
Voyagers Ages 9-11 Years
Kids 9-11 years of
age can take a backstage tour, play List-o-Rama and even learn a
new sport like Gagaball.
Navigators Ages 12-14
Years
Navigators 12-14 years of age can play
games and sports, join parties and contests They can also hang
out at Fuel, our Teen-only Club; The Living Room, a
Teen Lounge; and The Back Deck, a private outdoor area for
